General Rules & Regulations

Rules

To ensure a fair, fun, and professional experience for all participants, all dancers, studios, and attendees must adhere to the rules and regulations outlined by On Fire Performance Challenge. This includes guidelines on age divisions, performance categories, time limits, music submission, costuming, sportsmanship, and scoring. By registering, all participants agree to comply with these standards. Failure to follow the rules may result in disqualification or point deductions at the discretion of the judging panel. Please review the full list of rules prior to registering to ensure a smooth and successful competition experience.

Registration

  • All registrations must be completed online through our official website.

  • Registration deadlines are typically two weeks before each event.

  • Late registrations may be accepted with an additional fee, subject to availability.

Performance 
Guidelines

  • Time limits: Solos (2-3 minutes), Duets/Trios (2-3 minutes), Groups (3-4 minutes), Productions (5-8 minutes)

  • Music must be uploaded to your online account at least one week before the competition.

  • All performances must be appropriate for family viewing. Inappropriate choreography or music may result in point deduction or disqualification.

Props & Safety

  • Props must be set up and removed within 30 seconds before and after the performance.

  • No dangerous props (fire, water, confetti, glitter, etc.) are allowed.

  • All props must be approved by the competition director before use.

Judging & Awards

  • Performances are judged on technique, choreography, execution, showmanship, and overall impression.

  • All participants will receive feedback from our qualified judges.

  • Awards will be presented for each level and age division.

  • Special awards may be given at the judges' discretion.
